Blackwood, arguably the most beautiful
mountain village in Victoria, is a delightful little township set in
the mountains of the Wombat State Forest, just over one hour's drive
from Melbourne, and about 25 minutes from Daylesford, Woodend or
Kyneton. Wherever you turn the views are of beauty and peace. It
offers bush-walking, fishing, horse-riding and is home to the famous
Garden of St Erth. There are numerous places to eat, and the Mineral
Springs have been renowned for many decades.
If you don't know Blackwood, you have a
delight in store.
